Unpaid volunteering

No payment or return service is expected. Taking part is voluntary and either participant may end the arrangement. Agree the scope and timing freely; the same safety and local legal requirements apply. Read the volunteering guide.

Fictional volunteer opportunity for preview. Support a community lunch by setting tables, greeting guests and tidying with an experienced coordinator. Suggested Saturday morning availability is discussed with each volunteer; participation is freely chosen. No payment or work in return.

What you’ll deliver

A welcoming space and practical support under supervision. Check training, food hygiene and safe tasks with the organiser before starting.
